Terms of trade


Ordering & Paying

By placing an order and paying by bank transfer, you undertake to meet your obligations for online purchasing as specified in applicable Danish law and EU regulations.

Once the amount is received on the account, your order is despatched. If goods that are not in stock are ordered, these goods will not be sent to your home until payment is received by the bank. All fees are to be paid by the customer. We would draw your attention to the fact that with this form of payment you are not covered by the objection scheme.

The delivery time is approx. 2-5 working days, or as agreed, after order/payment. You will get regular updates on the status of your order via email.

Countries outside the EU

All goods sent to the Faroe Islands, Greenland and countries outside the EU do not incur Danish VAT of 25%. Danish VAT is deducted automatically.

Orders are only despatched when all goods are in stock.

Cancellation of order

An order or a product may be cancelled if the product ordered is not despatched.

You can cancel the whole order within 7 days by sending your order confirmation to this email address: info@fc1-14models.com.

Once your order is cancelled, you will receive a confirmation by email.

Payment by bank transfer

If you have paid by bank transfer, please state the name of your bank, your reg. number and account number, so that the amount can be refunded. You can do this by email, as this information is not sensitive.

Delivery and Shipment

All goods are sent with GLS as parcel post, and the prices are as per GLS Rates.

Shipment to EU countries is as per GLS Rates.

Shipment to Norway and other non-EU countries is as per GLS Rates.

Fees and charges for customs are added to the invoice on ordering.

When the goods are despatched, you will receive an email with a copy of the invoice (as a PDF attachment). You will receive an SMS and email from GLS, to enable you to track your shipment after despatch by FC 1:14 Models ApS.

Delivery time

Goods from stock are usually despatched within 2-5 days. The delivery time may be longer, however, if the product is temporarily sold out. This will be advised in the status email you receive.

Goods not collected from the GLS Parcel Shop

Goods that are not collected from the GLS Parcel Shop within a period of 8 days are returned by GLS to FC 1:14 Models ApS and the costs of return will be passed on to yourself. You will need to pay further costs for the goods to be sent again.

Cancellation period

Before returning a product, contact FC 1:14 Models ApS for approval of the return. A return slip is enclosed in the package, but a deduction for shipment is made before any credit amount is paid to the customer. As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 30 days when you buy from us. The cancellation period ends 30 days after the date you receive the product.

If several different products are ordered in the same purchase but are delivered separately, the cancellation period starts on the date you receive the last item. This means that you have 30 days from receipt to notify us if you wish to cancel your purchase. You can send a mail to info@fc1-14models.com, or use the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the bottom of the terms and conditions of trade.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to accept the product without notifying us at the same time. Cancellation of part of the purchase.  If you have purchased several products from us, you may return one or more items even though they have been purchased in one order. Note that the shipping costs will not be refunded if you cancel part of your purchase.

Returning goods

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us, using the return slip provided. You will need to pay the postage yourself (the cost for this is added in the refund amount), and you are liable for any damage that may occur during transportation.

Condition of the product when you return it

If the product has lost value and this is because you have used it for a purpose other than that necessary to establish the product’s nature, characteristics and functionality, you may only have part of the purchase amount refunded. The amount that can be refunded depends on the product’s trading value, and in some cases, this could mean that you may only have the shipping costs refunded. We recommend that you return the product in the original packaging. If the original packaging is not used, this could result in a decrease in value of the product.

Refund of the purchase amount

If you cancel your purchase, you will get your money back. We pay the money back using the same method of payment as used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. If a product is returned, we may withhold the payment until we have received the product, unless you send us documentation confirming you have returned it.

You should contact FC 1:14 Models ApS in any event before returning the product.

Warranty

When you shop with us, the regulations of the purchasing law apply. The means that you have a warranty of 24 months. Contact us before you send the product back. If your claim is justified, you may have the product repaired or replaced, or you may be entitled to a refund or a reduction in the price, depending on the situation. You must claim under the warranty within a “reasonable time” after discovering the fault. If you claim within two months after the fault is discovered, the claim will have been made promptly. If the claim is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The product must always be returned in appropriate or the original packaging. Also remember to get a receipt for the shipping, to enable us to refund your shipping costs.

We only receive packages that are sent directly to the address. When returning a product, you are asked to provide a detailed description of the problem.

Personal Data Policy

We need the following information when you shop with us: Name, address, phone number and email address. We register and pass on the personal data we need, to be able to deliver the product to you. The personal data are registered with FC 1:14 Models ApS and saved for five years or for as long as required by the accounting law, after which the information is deleted. We also cooperate with a number of other companies who save and process data. These companies process data exclusively on our behalf and may not use them for their own purposes. We only cooperate with data processors in the EU or in countries that are able to give your data adequate protection. The data controller is FC 1:14 Models ApS. The information is not used for marketing, newsletters, news mailings or similar, and nor is it passed on or transferred to a third party.

Your bank details are not stored by FC 1:14 Models ApS, and FC 1:14 Models ApS is unable to view this information.

You have the right to be informed what data we process about you. If you believe the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we have a duty to delete your personal data if you request that we do so. This could be, for example, if your data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which we would use them.
